Veteran Prayad wins Singha Hua Hin Open

Hua Hin, Thailand, May 8: Golden oldie Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand added another title to his impressive collection on Sunday when he won the Singha Hua Hin Open by a single stroke from local hero Prom Meesawat and the unsung Tirawat Kaewsiribandit.

The 50-year-old Prayad once again showed that age has not dented his ambition by recovering from a double bogey seven at the par-five third hole to card a two-under 69 at Royal Hua Hin Golf Club.

Prayad and Udorn locked at top in Singha Hua Hin Open

Hua Hin, Thailand, May 7: Veterans Prayad Marksaeng and Udorn Duangdecha are tied for top spot in the Singha Hua Hin Open heading into the final round after vastly contrasting rounds on Saturday.

Prayad, a multiple winner on the ASEAN PGA, Asian and Japan Tours, shot an error-free five-under 66 to catch overnight leader Udorn whose rollercoaster 70 included a double bogey and an eagle at Royal Hua Hin Golf Club.
