ESPN STAR Sports builds comprehensive golf programming with ASEAN PGA Tour Highlights Show

ESPN STAR Sports continues to build its extensive list of world-class and regional golf offerings with a five-year television broadcast deal for the ASEAN PGA Tour Highlights Show till 2014.

Fans across ESPN STAR Sports’ network can regularly look forward to catching highlights from the ASEAN PGA Tour, a professional tour sanctioned by the ASEAN PGA for golfers in Southeast Asia. The Tour boasts nine tournaments this season and the programme will be broadcast on ESPN STAR Sports regional network across 24 territories in Asia over the golf season.

In 2010 ESPN STAR Sport bolstered its golf content by securing a five-year regional television broadcast partnership to showcase OneAsia – Asia Pacific’s first consolidated professional tournament pathway for elite golfers. The ASEAN PGA Tour Highlights Show was also part of this new relationship which added to comprehensive golf programming on Asia’s biggest sports content provider. This also includes a stellar list of golf majors such as The Masters, US Open and The Open Championships well as the PGA Euro Pro Tour.
